Friends of the Buford Massacre Battlefield is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Checks for tax deductible donations can be mailed to:

Any monies raised by this organization are used to pay for the improvements, maintenance and enrichment of the educational experience of the battlefield. All purchases or donations can be treated as a tax deductible donation.
Memorial Brick Program
Consider participating in the Friends of the Buford Massacre Battlefield Memorial Brick Program. The bricks are placed in the patio located behind the Buford Massacre wall. They can be engraved with the name of someone special you would like to memorialize or honor. Three lines of script are available as well as a clip art graphic. Multiple bricks that are purchased can be installed next to one another if the orders are received at the same time. Bricks are $100 with $6 added for clip art. The Friends of BMB have reproduced Buford's flag from the above photo. The beaver gnawing on a palmetto tree above a banner with the word, "Perserverando" is on the continental $6 bill and has been adopted as the symbol for the Friends organization.
The reproduced flags are available in three sizes: 11" x 15", 2' x 3' and 3' x 5'.
Buford Battle Flags
The original Buford Battle Flag carried by the Continental soldiers at the massacre was captured by Lt. Colonel Tarleton and the British Legion. The flag was sent back to Tarleton’s estate in England where it is was privately displayed for over 225 years. Little was known of the flag’s existence until 2006 when the Tarleton family put the flag up for auction. The flag was displayed publicly at the Exchange Building in Charleston before Sotheby’s of New York led the auction. An anonymous buyer purchased the flag for their private collection.

The Friends of the Buford Massacre Battlefield are pleased to offer several items that allow you to show your support for the Battlefield. The high quality polo shirt and hat have the logo embroidered.
Polo Shirt $32
The polo shirt comes in a Campus Gold color with the image of the Buford Battle flag embroidered over the left pocket area. It is made of a 100% Polyester moisture wicking material that offers UV protection and is anti-microbial. It is easy wash, light weight and available in men’s and women’s sizes from small to 3x.
T-shirt $25
The Augusta 100% polyester wicking knit T-shirt, butter color, has a sublimation logo on the front. The shirt sports a tear-away label and double-needle sleeves and bottom.
Hats $22
The brushed cotton twill cap, khaki, has an embroidered logo on front and “Friends of the Buford Massacre Battlefield '' on the back. One size fits all.

Give Local
The Friends of the Buford Massacre Battlefield participate in the yearly Give Local campaign for non-profits in the Lancaster/Chester area. Your participation in this activity helps us obtain matching funds from several local businesses. Follow this link to learn about the event, which will be held on November 15th.
